I am always on the lookout for a good, healthy, homemade salad dressing, as I make and eat a salad every day. This one fits the bill! I don't usually keep stone ground mustard, so I just used regular classic mustard. It was very good - I love it - but it is a little strong on the mustard taste, so if you don't really like mustard this might not be the one for you. It takes very little to dress a salad and it is very flavorful. You really ought to try it.

Was there a particular reason that stone ground mustard was used in this recipe? I have never seen honey mustard in any store, any brand that used stone ground!

Went together as easy as it looks. I made it in a squeeze bottle; a quick shake and used it on a salad. It was really good!

a bit too much vineagar for me so I added more honey!

This was a real hit, and men were glued to the pretzels and this great dip. I'm sure it will be good on a salad, but even though I doubled the recipe, it just disappeared as a dip.

Made this tonight for the family. I am trying to make tasty things for the family with one family member being on a diet and everyone else not feeling like they are on diets, too! That can be quite an undertaking. Had thumbs up around the table for this salad dressing, and at 28 calories per tablespoon and no oil, I was happy, the dieter was happy, and the rest of the family didn't even know it was much better for them than the store bought junk that I have relied on before. A definite keeper!

Where do I buy stone-ground mustard?

I loved the texture of the stone-ground mustard in this!

I used red wine vinegar instead of the rice vinegar and served the dressing with a tossed salad and sandwiches. It was perfect to complement a light, summer meal.
